2 types of online survey

First one survey is dedicated to all blind or visually impaired for basic information about them issues. Second survey is dedicated to a blind or visually impaired expert user (advanced user). Our definition of an expert is blind or visually impaired who are interesting in various types of technology and devices for the blind or visually impaired person and use them more than 10 years.

"Computer Vision-based System for Impaired Human Vision Compensation" was accepted for publication in eTelemed2019 conference proceedings (acceptance rate: 28%, https://www.iaria.org/conferences2019/StatseTELEMED19.html). Dr. Povilas Daniušis participated in eTelemed2019 conference (Athens) and presented the paper.

Looking for existing technology

Dr. Arūnas Žvironas and Dr. Marius Gudauskis visited exhibition SightCity Frankfurt. They investigated what new technologies, devices and solutions are developing and representing. 

Attendance of this exhibition gave better understanding what type of technology and device could be revolutionary and useful for blind.

On 24th of April, 2018 Dr. Arūnas Žviras and Dr. Marius Gudauskis visited a professor dr. Edwige Pissaloux at University of Rouen Normany, France. They presented the project ideas to develop device for blind person. Also, the researchers looked up a laboratories of LITIS (Laboratoire d’Informatique, de Traitement de l’Information et de Systèmes).
